Ami-Lou SharpeAmi-Lou Sharpe hails from Derby, England and has only recently emmigrated to Australia.  She earned her degree in Theatre Acting at Bretton Hall College, Leeds and has since enjoyed a successful and challenging professional career.

Ami has a passion for Shakespeare and has starred in as Juliet, Helena and Portia in recent UK productions, earning critical praise for her passionate and convincing portrayals.  Prior to her arrival in Australia she was also heavily involved in the Rep theatre scene, theatre in education and had a small role in the BBC series Peak Practice.

Ami has had close ties to Melbourne for some now.  After a guest stint with The Arena Theatre Company on their UK tour, she came to Australia to study acting for film and television . During the same trip she also found time to play Kim in the highly-acclaimed Dreamweavers at the 2005 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

Ami is a highly skilled actor across all mediums.  She has an innate sense of comic timing, but is just as capable in more dramatic or serious roles. Now permanently in Melbourne with her Australian partner, she is looking forward to immersing herself in the local and national scenes.
