Danielle Bendall...

Danielle's day job as a marketer has provided her with exposure to the production of numerous TV commercials throughout her career.  This has involved working with stunt drivers, professional actors, naked models, and real consumers - in other words people who have never acted before (requires a very patient director!).

Being the client, however, often proved frustrating so Danielle enrolled in a short course in video production to “get her hands dirty”.   She was involved in the making of a short film entitled Get Samuel, including directing, sound, and camera.  This gave her a great overview of the film making process, although she's not sure what it says about her that she found operating the clapper board to be the hardest job?

In her role as First AD on the Troll Bridge shoot, Danielle certainly got to experience first hand the all-round nature of the job.  From recording time codes and checking the shot list was completed to handing out tissues between takes to those affected by hayfever amongst the dreaded thistles!
