Renee Rutgrink ...

Renee moved to Melbourne from Perth in April 2003 after graduating with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts with Honours.  She has basically tried to throw herself into the industry since then.

Renee has since completed a short film course at Swinburne University.  She has also crewed with RMITV on two television shows for channel 31: The Reviewers and Chartbusting 80s'.   This entailed undertaking different tasks from camera operation to Assistant Direction.

This year Renee would like to focus more on her own films, of which she is currently in post production on some short films she filmed late last year in India.   Her trip to India was the reason she initially left the Troll Bridge fold.   She now hopes to help out with some of the post production stuff for Troll Bridge and to continue to give Daniel a hand with any legal matters.

Renee works in the cinema trade to pay the rent, like most of the crew on the project it seems.   She has also been involved in the Melbourne Internation Film Festival while currently with the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
