Troy Larkin is a renowned underground Australian actor, appearing in both the realms of film and theatre. You may have caught glimpses of him most recently in the 2007 Short & Sweet Play Festival in the plays; Blindingly Obvious Facts and Uncontrollable Performance Art Moments. You may have had the chance to witness his performance as the gothic Matchseller in Harold Pinter’s A Slight Ache performed at Chapel Off Chapel or seen him at La Mamma’s 40th Anniversary featuring in Three Old Friends and This Great Gap of Time by Jack Hibberd. Perhaps you got the chance to have a peek at the short film Run Rincewind Run! that premiered at the Nullus Anxietis Discworld Convention. Or perhaps had the instance to see his brief appearance as the Aussie louse Catfish in the poignant yet comical short film Goldilocked.
As it happens Troy also finds the time to manage, direct and coordinate the Doncaster Fresh Youth Theatre, writing and directing two original works each year. Where ever it is you may happen to see Troy Larkin engaged in his craft rest assured it will be an experience you will undoubtedly remember. |
